Below the main results of the actions of Caritas Brazil between 2003 and 2011:

Food security: 25 thousand families supported by collective agricultural production and small livestock for subsistence.

Recyclable material collectors: 5,7 one thousand pickers / benefit from the material safety, production equipment and training.

Infancy and Juventude: 36 thousand children and teenagers participated in actions in defense of their rights and socio-educational activities.

Living with the Semiarid: 65 thousand families served with water works and 70 thousand with educational and productive activities.

Popular Solidarity Economy: 10 thousand workers / supported in the generation of income through collective organization of production, distribution and consumption.

Risk Management and Emergencies: Caritas works in preventing emergencies and immediate relief, and more than 100 thousand families have been served by the program.
