On the morning of Thursday, started the 3rd National Seminar: Project Economics and Feminist Solidarity Economy, no Marian Center,em Santa Maria. Oevento programming is part of the 8th Fair of Mercosur Solidarity Economy and the 19th State Fair of Cooperatives (Feicoop).
Attending the seminar were representatives of nine Brazilian states. The Project of Feminist Economics is present in 300 solidarity enterprises organized by women in different productive sectors. The initiative seeks to provide specific public policies for women and fight against the sexual division of labor. According to the organizer of the project in Pernambuco Feminist Economics, Nani Mariani, the first stage of the proposal worked at training women.
- Many group participants crafts, for example, did not consider this activity a job, but a moment of leisure where were her friends. Likewise, domestic work has to be seen as working, should be divided with men – Nani explains.
Today, Project is in its second stage, which aims to build a national network of Solidarity Economy. The meeting at the Marian Center seeks format this network from a joint local and national. The seminar will be completed on Friday.
